Blue Bottle Coffee Shibuya is more than just a coffee shop; it is a true urban oasis located in the heart of dynamic Tokyo. Situated in the prestigious Shibuya district of Japan, this Californian chain outlet was the brand's first location to be integrated directly into a park zone. The project, set within the renovated Kitaya Park, offers travelers a rare opportunity to enjoy peace and greenery in the middle of the metropolis.

The architectural look of the cafe was developed by the renowned Keiji Ashizawa Design studio. The designers focused on minimalism and the warmth of materials to create a space that harmonizes with its natural surroundings. The main visual anchor of the interior is a massive curved counter, clad in thousands of tiles finished with a volcanic ash glaze. These unique elements were handcrafted in collaboration with leading European design studios.
The two-level space is thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail: from cozy areas with soft banquettes in warm orange tones to high bar tables with "library-style" lighting. Large panoramic windows fill the rooms with natural light, and the diverse furniture allows both large groups and solo travelers seeking inspiration to settle in comfortably over a cup of world-class coffee.
