Why visit Korea in summer 2026
Didn't make it to Korea in spring? No problem, the summer travel option is even better. From June to August, the region enjoys comfortable temperatures of +25°C and above, but the humidity prevents the heat from being stifling. You can easily combine an educational and beach vacation, first exploring all the interesting sights in Seoul, then heading to Busan for a day or two. But the main reason why summer is ideal for your Korean voyage is, of course, the seasonal surge of entertainment. We'll talk about them, and all you'll have to do is buy tickets to Seoul on Kupi.com .

Events
Summer is prime K-pop season in Korea. Concert series and music shows by local and international artists kick off in Seoul and many other cities, so you can plan your entire trip around a specific event or add something along the way. We remind you that entry rules to South Korea are as simple as possible: no visa needed!
BTS World Tour
Can't make it to the April concerts of Korea's biggest boy band? Then postpone your trip until June: BTS will perform two shows in Busan right after the first North American leg of their tour. The concert will coincide with BTS's 13th debut anniversary (June 13), making the show even more legendary: a unique setlist with hits, new tracks, and special effects in honor of the anniversary is expected. Plus, Busan is the hometown of Jimin and Jungkook, so the atmosphere will be charged with the group's home energy and thousands of fans from all over the world.
Dates: 12-13 June 2026
World DJ Festival
This year, the festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary, so congratulations in advance! This is one of the region's main events in electronic dance music, taking place at Seoul Land in Gwacheon (Gyeonggi-do province), near Seoul. Zedd, Marshmello, and Armin Van Buuren have already been announced in the lineup. The festival is a blend of Asian culture with a global scale, bringing together thousands of fans of EDM, house, techno, and even K-pop (how could it not?).
Dates: 13-14 June 2026

Boryeong Mud Festival
The Boryeong Mud Festival is one of the brightest and most popular summer events in the country, annually attracting millions of visitors to Daecheon Beach. It started back in 1998 (almost 30 years ago!) as a way to promote cosmetic products made from local therapeutic mud, but over time it gained almost cult status among locals and tourists. No joke: in 2007, 2.2 million people gathered here!
The secret to its popularity lies in the entertainment: mud baths, mud slides, races (well, you guessed what kind) and even mud skiing. There's a mud rain tunnel, a waterfall, massage zones, mud sculptures, and even colored mud for body art. And in the evenings – concerts, fireworks, and raves. In short, if you want to spend time productively, while experiencing genuine delight from an almost childlike breaking of rules – this is the place for you.
Dates: 25 July – 10 August 2026
