Where to go to the sea in March
Thailand
Let's start with a popular option for where you can go to the sea abroad. On average, the thermometer in March in any of Thailand's popular resorts does not drop below +28 degrees, making the country perfect for a holiday. Most often, tourists come to the Andaman Sea coast in Krabi province to simply lie on the beach. Those who want to explore the local culture can safely go to the capital, Bangkok. Here you can visit several Buddha temples, the bustling Chatuchak market, and the green Lumpini Park.

Get ready for a warm holiday, but remember about acclimatization when you go to enjoy Vietnam in March. We recommend starting your trip with a visit to the capital, Hanoi, to see the Old Quarter, the majestic Presidential Palace, and drop into the Museum of Fine Arts. Then it's just a matter of choosing a resort: Nha Trang with its magnificent nature, Phu Quoc island fringed with paradise beaches, or the city of Da Nang for surfing.

However, it's worth it: upon arrival, you just have to choose what appeals to you more: diving and surfing in Varadero, Cayo Largo with its clear water and white sandy beaches, or the capital, Havana, with its cozy streets and rich culture.
UAE
Starting spring with luxury is great. Despite the UAE's reputation as an expensive destination, you can still have an affordable holiday. For this, you should choose Sharjah or Ras Al Khaimah. The first emirate is only 40 km from the popular and tourist-favorite Dubai, yet it is quiet and no less rich in interesting locations. The second is curious for its attractions: the Pearl Farm, the National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah, and the Hajar Mountains. And of course, if you want luxury, Dubai's doors are always open.
An unconventional destination for a March holiday is Makhachkala. The temperature stays around 10–12 degrees Celsius, but even if it's cool, it's not a problem in the Caucasus: a little local cognac, a chudu flatbread with cheese, lamb on coals, and you're ready to conquer the Dagestani mountains. See the central Juma Mosque, built in the style of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, stroll along Rasul Gamzatov Avenue, and take a train to Derbent — the oldest city on the Caspian Sea coast and a UNESCO site.

We've saved a place that is unlikely to be suitable for a full-fledged beach holiday. In March, the thermometer in Turkey stays at a maximum of +19 degrees, so swimming in the sea is definitely not an option. However, the trip will appeal to travelers who enjoy strolling along promenades, enjoying fresh air, and exploring the country's culture. Belgrade, Serbia
The first thing to visit upon arrival is the Stari Grad district. Here are the most magnificent structures — Belgrade Fortress and St. Sava Temple. We also recommend heading to the Zemun district, where ancient temples and houses with tiled roofs are located.
Tivat, Montenegro
Tivat was founded in the 3rd century BC, and you can come here in March to experience the atmosphere of every historical era. Ski resorts
In general, March is the time when you can catch the last train before the end of the ski season. We consider it important to warn that in early spring, snow already begins to melt, which can trigger avalanches. Therefore, take the planning of such a holiday very seriously.
Dombay
Grab a ticket to Mineralnye Vody, travel about 200 km by bus or car to Dombay Glade, check into a hotel — and there you have the opportunity to ski at a popular Caucasian resort. More than 10 trails with a total length of about 25 km are available to tourists. You can also come here with children: they will calmly sled or learn to ski under the supervision of experienced instructors.
Krasnaya Polyana
This resort is located in Krasnodar Krai, approximately 70 km from the city of Sochi. It is considered one of the best in the country.
