What annoys passengers most during a flight?
According to statistics, 32% of men do not recline their seats during a flight, women are more considerate — 38%. Moreover, a third of all surveyed passengers recline their seat while sleeping, and a quarter — when the flight lasts more than three hours. 12% get comfortable immediately after takeoff or after the person in front does so. And only 23% of American air passengers ask permission from the person sitting behind them before reclining their seat.
16% of passengers use the flight as an opportunity to chat or get acquainted with fellow travelers, while another 65% are afraid of being on a plane next to them.
Recently, many passengers record annoying neighbors on video and then upload the clip online — 12%, 6% write about it on Twitter. And only 22% of passengers are brave enough to express their dissatisfaction directly to the offender.
