The story of a young woman named Robyn, who intends to cross all of Australia on foot. It is a picturesque but very dangerous continent, where almost all flora and fauna pose a threat to humans. She sets off on her journey accompanied by a dog and four camels. National Geographic magazine became interested in her endeavor and offered her a photographer to accompany her. The film is based on real events. The author of the novel on which the film is based, Robyn Davidson, crossed 2700 kilometers on foot in 1977, accompanied by camels and a dog. It took her 9 months.

But everything goes awry, as the dim-witted men immediately start quarreling and sorting out their relationship. For this, they are kicked off the train in the middle of the desert. And this is just the beginning of their adventures…
Wild, 2014
One of the longest and incredibly interesting hiking trails is the Pacific Crest Trail in the USA. It runs from the Mexican border, across America, and up to Canada. Its length is 4279 kilometers. And not every daredevil would decide to embark on a journey along it. The main character, Cheryl Strayed, after a failed marriage, disillusioned with life and having lost her mother, sets off on foot along this route to find herself, overcome fears, and understand why she lives.
Leap Year, 2009
A woman desperately wants to get married, and specifically to a certain man. So, when he leaves for Dublin without proposing, she takes matters into her own hands! Learning that there's a tradition in Ireland where any woman can propose to a man on February 29th and he cannot refuse, she immediately buys a plane ticket. The weather makes adjustments to her plans, and the plane carrying the lady rushing to her beloved makes an emergency landing in Wales, from where she has to make her own way. A young Irishman offers to help her find her beloved in time, and together they travel across Ireland to finally propose to the clueless groom.
Nowhere in Africa, 1991
A German film telling the story of a girl named Regina, who at the age of five, along with her mother and father, flees Germany for Africa. The girl and her family have to survive in completely new conditions for them. Instead of civilized Europe, they encounter Black Africa. Living on a farm in Kenya, Regina quickly adapts to the new way of life, like any child.
