Aerial Journey: Europe's Best Cable Cars
Hey guys! How about the idea of seeing a city from above? But not just from an observation deck, battling the wind-hairdresser and endless tourists with selfie sticks, but in more comfortable conditions. We're telling you about Europe's best cable cars.
Head to the Dalmatian coast; the cable car starts from there and ascends to an altitude of 400 meters. During the ride, you'll see the old town and mountain forest below, and at the top, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops are at your service. We recommend taking the cable car only one way — up. You can walk down, which will require a little effort and about half an hour.
One-way trip cost: 85 HRK (approx. 11.5€) for adults, 40 HRK for children. Round-trip: 150 HRK and 60 HRK respectively.
The cable car has two sections with two lifts, with a transfer in Alpino. There is also a botanical garden with beautiful viewing platforms. The final stop will be Mottarone peak.
The cost of a round trip will be 19€ for adults and 12€ for children.
Don't miss the opportunity to see the city from a different perspective. It's always interesting, and sometimes it even helps plan your route!
And in our Telegram channel there is also useful and relevant information. We talk about places you immediately want to fly to, publish cheap tickets, share news and life hacks. Welcome!

This modern cable car connects Porto and the old city of Vila Nova de Gaia. And that's exactly where the famous port wine is bottled. The view from the cabin is wonderful: endless tiled roofs, the Dom Luís I Bridge, Morro Gardens, beautiful streets. Look carefully in all directions, as the ride lasts only 5 minutes. Round-trip cost: 9€ for adults, 4.50€ for children.

СabriO
If fate ever brings you to the Swiss town of Stans, be sure to ride the local cable car. The main thing here is not to get confused. The CabriO cable car is located at an altitude of 700 meters, meaning a regular funicular will take you there. You'll immediately recognize this cable car: its double-decker cabins for 60 people look majestic. And the second floor of the cabin is an open-air platform! If you get too scared, go down to the first floor, which is covered. Moving between floors while the cabin is in motion is not prohibited. The cost of such a round trip will be 64 Swiss francs; Swiss Pass holders will pay half price.
Cableway Stresa Mottarone
You already know that there are many cheap flights to Milan. It's the best city to start your journey through Italy. After emptying all the shops in Milan, head towards Lake Maggiore, where you'll find the resort town of Stresa. The local cable car will reveal all the beauty of the Italian mountains and nearby lakes.

Téléphérique Grenoble-Bastille
The amazing French city of Grenoble is located at the foot of three Alpine mountain systems, which is why there are many ski tourists here. But there's something else — the Bastille. An interesting cable car with an unusual appearance connects the city to it: the cabins are glass six-seater "bubbles." There's no need to even talk about the views from the cable car — you have to see them with your own eyes. A round trip will cost you 8.50€.How to spend time in France?
