Most airline tickets are exchangeable with an additional fee at any time before the flight departure.

Information about exchangeability is often indicated in the ticket itinerary receipt. 

A ticket that states that exchange is not available, cannot be reissued for another flight, or have its time or date of flight changed. 

For a ticket with the line «Exchange for a fee», it is permitted to change the date or time of departure with payment of an airline penalty and a service fee.

If your ticket does not have an «Exchange» column, this does not mean that it is not permitted. Our specialist will provide an exact answer to whether your ticket is exchangeable and how much it will cost after checking the ticket's fare rules.

Click the «Request Exchange» button in the order details in your Personal Account, select the exchange type «voluntary», specify the desired departure dates — and we will send an exact calculation to your email. For a round-trip ticket, please specify both flight dates, even if you only want to change one of them.

— What makes up the cost of a ticket exchange?

The cost of an exchange consists of the airline penalty, the difference between the old and new fare, as well as Kupi.com service fee for the ticket exchange procedure for each ticket separately.

• The airline penalty for exchange is specified in your ticket's fare rules and depends on the airline. For each individual ticket, the penalty is usually fixed, does not depend on the desired departure date, and, as a rule, does not increase closer to the ticket's departure date. After the flight departs (in case of no-show), exchange is usually no longer possible.

• Payment of the difference between the old and new fare will not be required if there are seats available on the desired flight at the same fare as your original ticket. If only more expensive tickets are available, the difference will be included in the exchange cost.

  If a lower fare is available on the new flight, the difference cannot be refunded or taken into account when calculating the exchange cost. Exchange to a lower fare is prohibited. 

• Kupi.com service fee for the exchange procedure is fixed and amounts to 18 € per ticket. Or 26 € if the purchase was made from a third-party service.
