How should I enter a passenger's document number?
Enter the document number exactly as it appears in the document that will be used for travel.
You can use:
a passport number;
a national ID card number.
The document number can contain up to 16 characters.
Important
Enter the document number without any unnecessary spaces or symbols.
If the document number contains letters, they must be entered using the Latin alphabet.
Do not replace Latin letters with similar-looking characters from other alphabets.
Make sure the document number in the ticket exactly matches the document you will present at the airport.
Any discrepancy between the ticket and the travel document may result in check-in issues or denial of boarding.
