What to Do

The main reason to visit 5th & Wine is for the unique culinary experience. Visitors can immerse themselves in tastings of craft beer and rare wine varieties carefully selected by the sommelier. Special attention should be paid to the seasonal menu: it is regularly updated, offering guests current gastronomic trends, such as themed weeks of Italian or French cuisine.

If your visit coincides with the famous "Passport Dinners," be sure to participate. These themed evenings take place once a month on Thursdays and Fridays, allowing guests to take a true flavor journey, sampling dishes and drinks from a specific region of the world accompanied by expert stories.

During the day, it's a pleasant spot for a quiet lunch, and in the evening, the venue transforms into the perfect setting for a romantic date or a business meeting. Don't forget to stop by the wine shop before leaving — there you can purchase your favorite bottle of wine or exquisite snacks to continue the evening at home.

History & Facts

The history of this popular spot began in the fall of 2010. At that time, the project was called Wines By Wednesday and was a tiny wine shop of only 65 square meters, tucked away in the corner of a large warehouse. Back then, the selection was limited to a couple of dozen wine varieties and a small choice of delicacies.

The turning point came in 2013 when the owners purchased the building on 5th Street South. Previously, it housed a sheet metal fabrication shop. A large-scale renovation allowed the old warehouse to be transformed into a stylish modern space while preserving the building's industrial charm.

In 2014, the renovated establishment opened its doors, significantly expanding its product range and wine list. Dining service was soon added to the shop, and by early 2015, 5th & Wine had evolved into a full-fledged restaurant with a dinner menu and a craft beer license. Since then, the establishment has never stopped experimenting, growing from a small hobby project into one of the city's main gastronomic destinations.

Time Needed

To fully enjoy the atmosphere of 5th & Wine, we recommend setting aside about 1.5–2 hours for your visit. This is plenty of time to leisurely explore the wine list, choose a dish from the seasonal menu, and spend a pleasant evening in conversation.

If you plan to stop by on a weekday for a quick lunch, you can easily manage in 45–60 minutes. However, remember that this place encourages leisurely relaxation, so if possible, don't schedule any important matters immediately after your visit.

Working Hours

The operating schedule of 5th & Wine is quite flexible and depends on the mealtime. Monday is traditionally closed. On Saturdays and Sundays, they also serve brunch and lunch.
