Archeon is not just a museum, but a real journey through time, located in Alphen aan den Rijn in the Netherlands. This unique open-air archaeological park allows visitors to literally immerse themselves in the country's history, exploring reconstructed settlements and learning about the daily lives of people who lived here hundreds and thousands of years ago.

The park's territory is divided into three main thematic zones, each dedicated to a specific era: the prehistoric period, Roman times, and the Middle Ages. More than 40 buildings have been recreated here with incredible accuracy—from primitive Stone Age hunter huts to Roman temples and medieval monasteries. All structures are based on actual archaeological finds, making them as authentic as possible.
The main feature of Archeon is its interactivity. Guests can not only view the exhibits but also take part in the daily life of the past. Here you can try your hand at ancient crafts, watch gladiator fights, learn archery, or simply chat with the "residents" of the villages—actors in historical costumes who are happy to talk about their era. This makes a visit to Archeon an exciting adventure for the whole family.
