Rheinaue Leisure Park (Freizeitpark Rheinaue) is the largest urban park in Bonn and one of the city's main natural attractions, located in Germany. It is often called the "green heart" of the city, and for good reason: the park covers about 160 hectares, which is comparable to the area of central Bonn. It is a favorite vacation spot for both locals and visitors alike.

The uniqueness of the park lies in its landscape diversity. Several zones are harmoniously combined here: the floodplain forest stretching along the banks of the Rhine, spacious lawns with picturesque groups of trees, and mixed areas offering beautiful views of the city. Originally created for the Federal Garden Show in 1979, today Rheinaue offers visitors many themed gardens, including a Japanese garden and a rose garden.
Rheinaue Park is the perfect place for those seeking a combination of active recreation and peaceful contemplation of nature. An extensive network of paths spanning 45 km is great for walking, jogging, and cycling. The large Auensee Lake invites you for a boat ride, while the numerous lawns are perfect for a picnic in good weather. In summer, various events, festivals, and the famous flea market are often held here, making the park a center of Bonn's cultural life.
