The Water Mirror (Miroir d'eau) is one of the most photographed and amazing attractions in Bordeaux, France. Located on the Garonne River embankment, directly opposite the majestic Place de la Bourse, it is a unique work of contemporary landscape art. This place has become a true symbol of the renewed city and a magnet for both tourists and locals.
The main feature of the attraction is its scale. It is the world's largest reflecting pool, covering an area of 3,450 square meters. The structure consists of a massive granite slab covered with a layer of water only 2 centimeters deep. In calm weather, the magnificent facades of 18th-century historical buildings are reflected on this surface as if in a real mirror, creating a truly surreal and mesmerizing scene.

The Water Mirror is interesting not only for its static reflection. The system regularly creates cycles in which the water is replaced by a light mist enveloping the square, adding mystery to the place and making it an ideal location for futuristic photo shoots. In the evening, when the buildings are illuminated, the reflections become particularly colorful and spectacular. This is a space for relaxation, play, and meetings, where you can refresh yourself on a hot day or simply enjoy the unusual view.
