In the heart of the colonial city of Salta lies one of the region's most significant cultural spaces — the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC). This gallery in Argentina serves as a true bridge between a rich past and a dynamic present, offering guests a unique look at South American creativity.

The museum occupies the magnificent historical building Casona Usandivaras, built in the early 20th century. After an extensive renovation, the mansion was transformed into a modern exhibition space spanning over 1,000 square meters. Here, across 11 spacious halls, ancient architecture harmoniously coexists with avant-garde works by local artists.
The collection is impressive in its diversity: from rare finds of the pre-Hispanic period and sacred art of the colonial era to works by prominent 20th-century Argentine masters such as Ernesto Scotti and Ramiro Dávalos. The museum is constantly evolving, expanding its holdings through donations and promoting Salta's contemporary art on the international stage.
