Where to go in November
In November, more than ever, one longs for warmth and light. Outside, it's slushy, and seeing the sun outside the window is a rare treat. Everything feels so lazy and boring… Where can one even go in such weather?
We perfectly understand you! However, there are many places where you can recharge your inner battery. And it's no secret at all. Start packing your bags, we're about to tell you all about it.

Beach vacation in November
A beach vacation is a top option to dispel the November blues.
Turkey
Let's start with a classic. Turkey is the most common destination where tourists go abroad for a seaside vacation. On the other hand, if the option is truly excellent, why not travel every year?
Just be careful: November weather here is quite cold. Cold, that is, relative to Turkey. For visitors from Russia, +18–26°C will seem like a real paradise! If you're not a fan of the cold, of course.
For those wishing to swim, we recommend visiting the Kaputas lagoon with its blue waters in Fethiye, located between the towns of Kas and Kalkan.
What about the visa? It's not needed, and that's convenient. Turkey is one of the few countries where you can go without a visa. So don't miss your chance.
And other documents? Everything as usual: internal passport and international passport.
Thailand
Thailand is a country best visited if you've already earned the honorary title of "Turkish regular" and are craving something new. Regardless of the time of year, the beaches here are sunny and the water is warm.
For anyone wanting to feel like a Bounty commercial star, we recommend checking out flights to Phuket. White sand and palm trees overhead — isn't that a dream? So, if you're looking for where to go in December, consider Thailand as an option.
What about the visa? How convenient: you won't need one. Tourists from Russia can stay in Thailand for up to 30 days.
And other documents? All you need is an international passport. And a visa, if you decide to stay in Thailand longer.

UAE
Oh, well, no need for extra words here. A vacation of the "something luxurious" kind, but what a vacation! Almost everyone dreams of getting a tan with a view of the Burj Al Arab hotel or swimming in the Persian Gulf. By the way, the United Arab Emirates is not just about a destination where you can go to the sea in November. It's also about excellent shopping and new experiences. For example, have you ever ridden a camel? Have you attended "Formula 1" style races? No? Then this is definitely a sign!
What about the visa? You won't need one. Yes. Just like that. No catch. Well, okay, there is a catch, but only if you extend your stay. Tourists can stay in the UAE for no more than 90 days, and after that, unfortunately, you'll have to deal with documents.
And other documents? In your excitement, don't forget your international passport. That's all you need to enter the UAE!
Sri Lanka
Once you visit Sri Lanka, you won't want to go home. This country captivates all travelers without exception. The November weather here is pleasant: sea +28°C and air +30°C. Short showers are also refreshing, especially closer to the north.
By the way, we recommend visiting the tea plantations. You can see them, as well as numerous mountains, from the train. It runs in the direction of Ella — Kandy, towards waterfalls and mountain valleys.
What about the visa? You can apply for a visa upon arrival or in advance on the consulate's website.
And other documents? Be sure to bring your international passport.

India
Surely, many think that India is only about majestic palaces, elephant rides, and delicious tea. That's true, but it's only one side. The other is revealed in Goa. How fortunate that we happen to have a couple of tickets to Goa at a pleasant price. As they say, it's destiny.
Colorful villas right on the water, turquoise waves, and bright green palm trees. The vibrancy here is turned up to the maximum. Just imagine: you, a pastel sunset, and a refreshing lemonade in hand. You wouldn't even know it's November!
What about the visa? This is where a visa will be needed. Fortunately, you can apply for an e-visa.
And other documents? In addition to the visa, be sure to bring your international passport and a good mood.
Where to go without a visa
By the time you wait for a response from the visa center, not only autumn but a whole year will pass. Cleverly devised, of course, but what to do in such a case? Certainly not despair. Visa-free destinations can pleasantly surprise you.
Maldives
Yes. This is not a typo, and certainly not a mistake. You can plunge into the Indian Ocean without much trouble. Although without a ticket to the Maldives, it definitely won't happen.
The sunsets here are beautiful. It even creates the impression that you are not on Earth, but in paradise. Fish of all colors and sizes swim in the clear water, and helicopters with tourists fly overhead (if you wish, you can be in one too). In short, don't put off the chance to treat yourself.
What documents will you need? We certainly won't reinvent the wheel by saying that all you need is an international passport.
Dominican Republic
For anyone who thinks nothing can surprise them anymore, we recommend getting tickets to the Dominican Republic. The number of tourists here is growing every year. So make sure to explore the republic's resorts before it becomes mainstream.
Even if at first you don't want to leave your room (the temperature there in November is +30°C at best), rest assured — you'll get into it later. After a couple of days, you won't even notice yourself queuing for windsurfing or wanting to dive among the corals for snorkeling.
In short, the Dominican Republic is relaxing. It relieves stress and fatigue. Isn't that what everyone needs?
What documents will you need? The main thing is to fill out an electronic form before entry. After completing it, a QR code will be sent to your email. Save it somewhere safe. By the way, your international passport will also come in handy.
Cuba
Another real fairy tale where you can fly in November. Alongside "Cadillacs," Soviet "Volgas" drive around Cuba, and skyscrapers rise next to historic palaces.
For sweet wines or locally produced cigars, tourists head to Havana or Pinar del Río. As for beach holidays, they choose Cayo Largo with funny beaver-like animals, or Cayo Guillermo with pink flamingos right by the coast.
In general, if you want to forget about the November slush and the approaching end of the year, we recommend taking a closer look at Cuba. Bright colors, friendly locals, and diverse landscapes will be your best helpers in this endeavor.
What documents will you need? Don't worry about that. You can dive into the atmosphere of fun with just an international passport.
Georgia
No article about visa-free destinations would be complete without Georgia. And rightly so, tourists don't come here for no reason. The food is delicious, and the landscapes are impressive. Moreover, in autumn, the foliage turns warm shades, making walks through the area very atmospheric.
One of Georgia's most tranquil locations is Racha. It's also called "Georgian Switzerland," and for good reason. Coniferous forests and snow-capped treetops are reflected in the crystal-clear lake waters, and the sunsets impress even skeptics. In short, it looks picturesque, and you definitely should see it.
What documents will you need? Want to see the natural wonders of Georgia? Anyone can do it. A visa is not required for a whole year, only an international passport.
Kazakhstan
Surely you're familiar with the feeling when everyone around is rushing somewhere, and you just crave a little peace. Well, for peace and tranquility, it makes sense to fly to Kazakhstan. Even in large cities, no one rushes through life; they simply enjoy it. Unusual, isn't it?
There are few tourists here, which makes the experience more vivid: no crowds, just beautiful architecture. By the way, for inspiration from local architecture, we recommend going to Astana. And for the best photos and new experiences, you should visit Lake Kaindy or Charyn Canyon. We won't spoil it, but rest assured, you'll be very surprised when you get there.
What documents will you need? Recently, everything has become simpler. Entry to Kazakhstan is allowed with either an internal Russian passport or an international passport.

Where else to go abroad cheaply
You can spend the remaining warm days not only at your dacha or within the walls of your own apartment. It's quite possible to be in the thick of things cheaply and tastefully. Plus, treating yourself and your followers to new selfies is a nice bonus to a long-awaited trip.
Egypt
I remember, tourists used to fly to Egypt more often than to Turkey. Naturally, picturesque resorts and pleasant prices are still quite attractive. It's just that there will be slightly fewer Russian tourists than ten years ago.
Popular resorts that are definitely worth your attention include Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada. A vacation there is, without exaggeration, five-star. By the way, you definitely won't get bored even within the hotel grounds. Among visitors, it's popular to spice up sunbathing with some activities. For example, scuba diving or a safari trip.
What about the visa? A visa is needed. But don't rush to get upset at the thought of a long wait. You can get the coveted entry access upon arrival at the airport. It's simple, though paid (25 dollars).
Will any other documents be needed? Yes, a valid international passport.
Azerbaijan
Another secluded corner to find peace and tranquility from merging with the infinitely eternal. Locals will gladly tell you about the sights of Azerbaijan, treat you to juicy fruits, or simply point the way.
Many travelers begin their acquaintance with the city of Baku. It's the capital, and it truly surprises. Futuristic structures stand side by side with small quarters of the Old City. And during a walk, you might accidentally stumble upon some atmospheric place that isn't even written about online.
If you want to dedicate your time to something else (not just walking the streets and getting acquainted with local traditions), we advise you to go somewhere outside the city. For example, to Mount Yanardag. It is located only 17 kilometers from Baku and is definitely worth your attention.
What about the visa? Tourists from Russia can stay in Azerbaijan for up to 90 days without a visa. To see all the locations that interest you, plan your route in advance.
Will any other documents be needed? An international passport will be required at the airport and when crossing the border.
Montenegro
A vacation in Montenegro in autumn is by no means inferior to a summer vacation in Montenegro. Although the temperature drops to +15°C, this does not prevent travelers from exploring the country at their own pace.
For those wishing to briefly immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages, we recommend visiting Kotor. The Adriatic coast will help you lose yourself in the atmosphere of narrow streets. And don't forget to pop into Podgorica — it is the capital, after all.
What about the visa? Good news: a whole month without visa hassles.
Will any other documents be needed? Only an international passport.

Serbia
Those accustomed to cold weather will be very surprised when they find themselves in Serbia. During the day, it's from +1 to +6°C, and at night the temperature can drop to –5°C. So don't take a bunch of warm clothes with you. Better leave room for souvenirs. By the way, you can go shopping in Belgrade or Novi Sad. So to speak, combine business with pleasure: you'll walk around the city and buy some memorable items.
Among the attractions outside civilization, you should see the Uvac Canyon. That's the place where the water flows in a zigzag. Among other interesting things, there's also the "Devil's Town." Don't be scared, though there are many local legends, there's nothing terrible there. But it's devilishly beautiful!
What about the visa? Everything is great, because you don't need one. A whole 30 days in another country! What do you think?
Skiing vacation
A November vacation on white sandy beaches under the scorching sun with a cocktail in hand is not for everyone. Some dream of snowy expanses, negative temperatures on the thermometer, and extreme sensations.
"Krasnaya Polyana", Sochi
As they say, it's a classic. In general, "Krasnaya Polyana" is a well-known place among active recreation enthusiasts. Here you'll find slopes for both beginners and experienced skiers. Even if you've never tried this activity before — the resort staff will definitely help you.
"Dombay", Elbrus region
"Dombay" is in no way inferior to "Krasnaya Polyana". Every year, tourists come here not only from Russia but also from other parts of the world. The slopes are equipped for both beginners and professionals who can stand firmly on a board or skis.
"Sheregesh", Kemerovo region
In addition to ski slopes, "Sheregesh" offers a huge variety of leisure options. Clubs, spa complexes, cafes, and bars where you can not only eat well or relax but also make new acquaintances.
"Tsaghkadzor", Armenia
A bit of sudden romance. From Armenian, "Tsaghkadzor" translates to "valley of flowers." Indeed, it's beautiful here both in winter and summer. In the cold season, travelers prefer to ski down the slopes. But when the cold shackles fall away, the activity changes to the opposite — climbing mountains. The slopes here are wide and entice even tired travelers to take a ride. In short, it's very captivating.
"Kopaonik", Serbia
The cherry on top of ski exoticism and one of the inexpensive options where you can ski at resorts in November. Tourists love this place for its spacious slopes, delicious food, and comfortable accommodation. Moreover, you can enter Serbia without a visa. In short, it's not worth putting off.
Where to go in Russia
Not only foreign destinations are famous for their variety of entertainment and pleasant weather. Russia also has a couple of places that many yearn to return to.
Sochi
Most likely, you're not even surprised. However, the fact remains. Sochi is beautiful at any time of year. True, swimming in November won't be possible anymore. It's cold, after all. But you can take a city tour. Believe me, even by the end of autumn, Sochi knows how to surprise. Some spend time at "Rosa Khutor," some go to waterfalls, some enjoy sunsets from the observation deck. Which option will you choose?
Baikal
In November, it gets cool on Baikal. Often, this factor deters a large number of travelers. On the one hand, it's a drawback, but on the other… Tour packages become cheaper, and you can walk along the lake shores without rushing. We also recommend visiting the neighboring city of Irkutsk. Getting acquainted with the local culture will greatly diversify your vacation. And, of course, don't forget to taste the dishes in the local restaurants?
North Ossetia
North Ossetia is best suited for lovers of excursion holidays. Guides will gladly take you through mountains, sights, and gorges. Even a temperature of +5°C will not prevent you from enjoying the republic.
Now you definitely won't be racking your brains over where to go on vacation in November. How are your suitcases? All packed? All that's left is to choose your tickets and go, towards new experiences!
