This text is about Murmansk from Rita, Kupibilet's ex-SMM manager. Rita used to manage our social media, and now she's flying free: traveling and seeing the world.

I spent 17 happy years in Murmansk: I went mushroom picking, downhill skiing, and vacationed in Norway. It might seem a bit boring to live beyond the Arctic Circle, but there's really a lot to do and see here.
Eat
Tundra
Modern northern cuisine. Scallops, crabs, sea urchins, salmon, etc. — signature recipes, unusual presentation, and northern charm.
Terrace
Probably the best restaurant in Murmansk. There's a main menu — for dinner with friends or your significant other, and an Arctic menu — for fans of local seafood. In short, something for every taste and budget, and most importantly — excellent service.
Kruzhka
A local chain cafe-restaurant. Plenty of space, pleasing prices, excellent food. Perfect for spontaneous gatherings with a large group.
Party
Parties beyond the Arctic Circle are always about coziness, warmth, and a special northern vibe. Few people go out in cocktail dresses and high heels — it's cold here most of the year. Also, not all parties involve alcohol — in Murmansk, there's a lot of action without the standard whiskey-cola** and 'boom-boom' music.
Jazz & Blues Cafe
Every Wednesday, something like an open mic for musicians takes place at the 'Ledokol' club. The main feature is that everyone has known each other for a long time: Jazz & Blues Cafe has existed for over ten years and still attracts new artists. Free entry, active bar — voilà! The evening is planned.
7 Nebo
A panoramic bar in the tallest building beyond the Arctic Circle. On weekends, there's live music and lively parties, on weekdays — cozy evenings with a glass of sparkling wine** and an amazing view of the Arctic capital.
Center for Contemporary Art '21A'
A venue for experimental art with a packed calendar. Performances, exhibitions, creative laboratories, and workshops — it's all here. By the way, Murmansk Oblast closely cooperates with Norway, so artists from Tromsø and Kirkenes often come here.
Amigos bar & grill
For the best burgers — come here. Delicious meat, craft beer**, and decent wine** for reasonable prices. On weekends it's noisy and hot here, but that only makes it cooler. A good dose of fun won't hurt anyone.
See
Many people come to Murmansk not to be inspired by the city and visit museums. Teriberka is the main object of desire for seasoned travelers. The easiest way to get here is by car; it's best to hire a local guide — coziness and quality are guaranteed. Locals always conduct tours with reverence and tender love, through them you can see the north differently. Through the eyes of a resident, not a tourist.
