What to do on a plane?
Experienced travelers have come up with many ways to entertain themselves during a flight, and we will share them with you.

- Read — the most popular way to kill time on a plane, just don't bring complex books that require deep thought. It's more convenient to take an e-reader rather than a regular book. You can download several books or magazines onto it, and if the book you chose turns out to be boring, you can simply start reading another one.
- Watch a movie — for this, you need to bring a computer, tablet, or portable DVD player, but keep in mind that the battery might not last for the entire flight. Some airlines rent out portable DVD players, which costs approximately 500-600 rubles.
- Get to know your neighbors. If you happen to have cheerful and sociable fellow travelers, time will fly by unnoticed. You'll be even luckier if you sit next to a resident of the country you're flying to. You can learn about interesting places, sights, and restaurants from them. And if you don't know their language, you'll have enough time to learn a few phrases.
- By the way, you can not only talk with your neighbors but also play games. For example, word games, cities, battleship, etc. If your neighbors are not talkative, you can play by yourself... play solitaire, solve sudoku, riddles, puzzles, and crosswords, or simply play games on your mobile.
- For time to pass unnoticed, it's best to spend it on a favorite activity, such as your hobby. Many ladies embroider on planes, though not every airline will allow scissors on board, although blunt-tipped paper scissors might be permitted.
- Sleep. If noise bothers you, it's best to buy earplugs or sleeping pills in advance. And don't forget to bring an eye mask; without it, it will be harder to fall asleep with the lights on.
- Use your free time and write, for example, a poem, or an entire epic. If you don't have writing talent, you can thoroughly plan a new business plan or apartment design.
- Work. If you have your laptop with you, during a multi-hour flight, you can manage to finish unfinished tasks, write letters to business partners, thoroughly review contracts, etc.
- Study a phrasebook and learn a few new words or phrases.
- Enjoy the beautiful view from the window, and if the sun isn't shining into the porthole, you can even take some great shots.
- Relax. When was the last time you managed to do that? Forgot? Then it's time to clear your mind and rest.
