Travel with Royal Air Maroc
To Europe, Africa, and even the Canary Islands – with Royal Air Maroc, you can reach the most desired points on the map. You can bask on the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, stroll through winding old streets, and all this with one short layover or even a direct flight. We found six cities you can easily fly to from Moscow this summer.

Casablanca
This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship between West and East, between white stone and Atlantic breeze, between sky and earth, if we're talking about Royal Air Maroc. Mohammed V Airport in this coastal city is the airline's home base, and now also a convenient transit point for travelers from Russia. The travel time from Moscow to Casablanca is 6 hours and 15 minutes: in this time, you'll manage to watch the eponymous film almost four times.

It's worth visiting Morocco's largest city for several reasons. Firstly, it's very beautiful: snow-white facades (after all, casa blanca literally means "white house"), bustling oriental markets, luxurious mosques. Secondly, there's Ain Diab beach – wide, oceanic, with pools, beach clubs, and surfing lessons. Thirdly, in Casablanca, you can feel like a star from Hollywood's golden age by visiting Rick's Café.
Tenerife
To get acquainted with the Canary Archipelago, it's best to choose Tenerife – the island of eternal spring, as it's also called. Its volcanic origin bestowed upon it exotic black beaches and a rugged landscape, while Spanish rule brought a love for lavish festivities. A special pleasure is that you can visit Tenerife at any time of year: even in mid-December, the average temperature stays around +22°C, and particularly brave tourists even continue to swim in the ocean.

To go to Tenerife, you'll first need to figure out how to get a visa for Spain. However, you can get here from Moscow with Royal Air Maroc, with a layover in the same Casablanca. We recommend allowing more time between flights to get two trips in one: first, see the oriental colors of Morocco, and then the black and white palette of Tenerife. Be sure to visit Teide National Park to see the volcano, the resort town of Los Gigantes, and the botanical garden of Puerto de la Cruz in the north of the island.
Malaga
Sun, sea, Picasso. And two Royal Air Maroc flights from Moscow to Malaga, separating you from them. You should come here for a luxurious tan, mass-market shopping, and endless tapas in local bars. The 14 km long coastline is officially divided into 16 beaches. The water here is cool, but it's refreshing after the blinding Spanish heat.

Its location in southern Spain and proximity to the African continent have left their mark on Malaga's appearance. For example, the main local attraction is the impressive and monumental Moorish fortress of Alcazaba, inside which gardens with fountains and an archaeological museum are spread out. After visiting it, we suggest taking a powerful leap through time to the 20th century and seeing the works of Pablo Picasso, of which more than two hundred are exhibited in the museum named after him.
Barcelona
The pearl of Catalonia, a city where Gaudi's architectural genius meets the azure Mediterranean Sea, and a passion for life is felt in every corner. It's a city that captivates with its colors, sounds, and tastes, a city you want to return to again and again. There are no direct flights to the Catalan capital right now, but you can buy tickets Moscow – Barcelona, land briefly in Casablanca, and two hours later find yourself in one of Europe's most beautiful places.

What to see in Barcelona? Everything! Here, every street and every building can impress: the Gothic Quarter with its chaotic development, Casa Milà and Casa Batlló with their whimsical curves and vibrant ornamentation, La Rambla boulevard with street performers. And don't forget to set aside a few hours to visit the Temple of the Holy Family (Sagrada Familia).
Lisbon
There's a common belief that you should first see all the most interesting things in Spain and only then turn your attention to Portugal. We assure you, that's not true! Lisbon can overshadow many other destinations. Its location on the Atlantic coast mitigates summer heat and creates a comfortable, mild winter. Plus, it's only an hour and a half away from Casablanca by air.

Upon arriving in Lisbon, be sure to visit St. George's Castle, see the Triumphal Arch and Belém Tower, and then head to Jerónimos Monastery with its magnificent courtyard, fountains, flowerbeds, and clear symmetry. And after a rich cultural program, unleash your inner hedonist and go for a tasting of Portuguese wines, fish delicacies, and the famous "Pastel de nata" pastry.
Paris
“We’ll always have Paris,” said Ilsa, the main character of “Casablanca,” to Rick Blaine. Now these cities will be connected by another thin thread – a dotted line on the map, indicating a flight from Moscow to Paris with a layover. Now, after the Olympics in the French capital, is the best time for such a trip. The city has been updated and reconstructed, so you'll find clean streets and improved transport infrastructure.

But there are things that Paris doesn't need to change. These are the Champs-Élysées, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Montmartre, the Louvre, which you can even enter for free. It's the smell of coffee and croissants in the morning. It's the Luxembourg Gardens and the Tuileries Garden. And only the queues at Disneyland, one would wish them shorter, right?)
